Evans Farmhouse and CreameryEvans Farmhouse is a family owned and operated, USDA certified organic creamery located in Norwich, New York. We bottle our milk and make our yogurt in our on-farm creamery using milk from our 75 organically raised, pasture-fed Jersey cows. Their Hillside grass diet is supplemented with non-GMO certified organic grain, hay, baylage, and haylage throughout the year. Our organic products taste better and are better for you than conventional dairy products. This is truly due to the organic grass-based practices we use and believe in. |
Brovetto Dairy FarmRonald and Corinne Brovetto and their son Russell milk cows and make cheese for sale to local and regional consumers. The Brovettos make a specialty cheese which they called “Harpersfield.” The original recipe is similar to Tilsiter, the thirdmost popular cheese in Germany. Harpersfield Cheese is aged naturally and crafted by using milk from our cow dairy located in the northern Catskills of Delaware County. Our herd has been bred over the past thirty years to provide a proper balance of natural nutrients to make our unique cheese. Each step in the cheese making process is carefully crafted by the cheese maker. The cheese is aged in an underground area where the temperature and humidity are controlled until the full flavor is developed. During the aging period, each wheel is washed and examined with care. |
